YOU DESIGN, the new Pollini project in collaboration with Istituto Marangoni
Pollini is pleased to announce the collaboration with Istituto Marangoni for the launch of a capsule collection that will be available to the public, with a "See Now Buy Now" formula, starting May 2021.
The collection will be available for purchase at the Pollini boutiques, on pollini.com and at an exclusive selection of Italian and International multi-brand stores.
The students of the Luxury Accessories Design & Management Master in Milan, Florence and London will start working on the Pollini Archive collection - the Pollini collection inspired by the brand's historical archives and craftmanship – with a large margin of creative freedom.
The capsule - which includes different styles of shoes and one style of bag - will complement the Pollini PE21 collection, that was inspired by the atmosphere and colors of the most fascinating summer destinations within the Mediterranean.
The final results will be evaluated by a panel of judges composed of journalists, influencers and the company board; the most interesting projects will then be presented to the students of the BA course in Fashion Styling and Creative Direction to develop a multi-channel communication strategy in collaboration with the company for the launch of the collection.

Pollini is an historic Italian brand, always synonymous with tradition, craftsmanship and Made in Italy excellence. The brand was founded in 1953 in San Mauro Pascoli, always valuing craftmanship for the production of footwear. Between the sixties and the seventies, Pollini develops and consolidates, soon becoming a brand with international connotations.
Today Pollini stands out for its stylistic heritage, its culture of craftmanship and its strong brand identity. The Archive collection, presented for the first time in 2019, strengthened the craftsmanship excellence of the brand even further, rediscovering its iconic elements and reinterpreting them in a new look that connects tradition to contemporaneity.
Istituto Marangoni was founded in 1935 in Milan as Istituto Artistico dell'Abbigliamento Marangoni and in 2020 it reaches an important milestone: 85 years of success in training the best professionals in the world of fashion and design. With four generations of students from five continents, it became the springboard for over 45,000 fashion and luxury industry professionals, including Domenico Dolce, Franco Moschino, Alessandro Sartori, Maurizio Pecoraro, Paula Cademartori, Andrea Pompilio and Lucio Vanotti.
